Genuine Chemistry

I'm going to have a story in that lovely book right there. It's called "Genuine Chemistry," and it's about a gender-nonconforming moonshiner who's lying low in a small factory town until an elegant widow waltzes into her life.

I had a whole lot of fun researching it—so many fascinating transitions happened in the twenties. It made me realize that the 60s weren't the only time sexual freedom increased in the world. And there are plenty of nuances, such as the significance of Chanel No. 5 perfume (a scent that was intended to mingle the muskiness of the "scarlet woman" with the floral aroma of the "nice girl"). Check out these gorgeous perfume ads. I also found great resources about historically accurate underwear (thank you, Vintage Dressmaker!), and 1920s slang, and one academic paper I used for information on words used for lesbians in the 1920s.

What I did not find great information about was strap-on sex in the 1920s, so I used some imagination, combined with the knowledge that there are pictures from the 1800s of it occurring, so it was a thing people had done.

I'll post a snip from the story when the anthology is out!

Out Today: Three's Company

Here's the blurb for my story, "The Orgasm Contest":

Jody and Celeste have finally let Brent in on the hot thing they have going with each other and whichever guy manages to strike their fancy. Determined to hold onto his privileged position at all costs, Brent knows he needs to offer more than the average guy in order to keep their interest. In pursuit of his goal, he shows up one evening with industrial-strength vibrators and a plan to find out which of them can come the most.

Also includes stories by Nicole Gestalt, Ralph Greco Jr, Naomi Bellina, and Maxine Hooper.

It's Not Too Early to Be Filled With Christmas Spirit

You know I mean that in a kinky way, right? Of course you do!

I've got you covered with The House of Erotica Winter Warmers collection, in which I join fellow House of Erotica authors to turn up the heat for the winter.

My story is called "Filled With Christmas Spirit," and I'm sure you'll be surprised to learn that I'm actually talking about going caroling while wearing a butt plug. Because how else would you do it?

Here's a snip:

"Good girl," Marcus said. "Can you guess what the fourth thing I wanted was?" He brought his hand to her side, stroking her with the firm affection he might have used with an expensive racehorse.

She shook her head.

"Give me a guess."

"Uh, sheet music? If we're going caroling, that is."

Marcus burst out laughing. "That wasn't what I had in mind, but you get points for that answer." He released her and went to rummage in the dresser. "I need lube to get your ass ready for this plug."

"Marcus, you can't really mean to take me out of the house with that in me!"

"If it doesn't work, it doesn't work, but I certainly mean to give it a shot."

Caroline whimpered, already imagining herself surrounded by fresh-faced, wholesome-looking carolers, trying to conceal the secret fullness in her ass.

"If I'd known this idea would excite you so much, I would have tried it sooner."

Caroline frowned, then realized her whimper had become a moan before it ended.

The bed creaked as Marcus settled himself behind her. A moment later, he spread her labia. The sudden intimate touch underscored the submission she had chosen to give him. He hadn't needed to kiss her first, or to slowly work his way up to touching her there. Instead, he took it as his right to touch her there.

His finger slipped into her. "You're soaking, Caroline."

Marcus found her favorite inner spots and pressed against them, leaving Caroline unable to answer him with words. She braced herself on her palms as well as she could, resisting the urge to drop flat onto the bed as he slid more fingers inside her. Every time she swallowed, she felt the ribbon against her throat and remembered that she'd given herself over to Marcus's plans for the evening.

"We shouldn't lose our Christmas spirit," Marcus said in the same teasing tone he'd been using since he got home. "I think you should practice your caroling now, Caroline." He lingered on the similarity of the activity and her name, pronouncing the repeated sounds with relish. She might have commented on this if she'd been able to speak. Instead, she shook her head rapidly and continued to moan.

"Oh, come on. I know you like Christmas. Let's give it a shot together, shall we?" He cleared his throat theatrically while suddenly giving his fingers a twist inside her. Caroline cried out in surprise at the same moment that Marcus sang in a rich baritone, "God rest ye merry, gentlemen, let nothing you dismay."

Halloween is Here!

The House of Erotica Witching Hour just came out, and it's getting me excited about the season!

Here's the blurb:

Inside you will find thirteen spooky erotic stories. From shapeshifters to wild nights with the dead there's a theme to suit everyone.

Stories from Victoria Blisse, Isabel Holley, Nicky Raven, Heather Lin, Vanessa de Sade, Gemma Parkes, Tilly Hunter, Lucy Felthouse, Elizabeth Black, Nephylim, Annabeth Leong and Daddy X.

The specifics of my story, "If I Ask":

Locked by accident overnight in the Cimetière de Montmartre, a man discovers much more than statues and cats. The spirits who linger there would happily feed on the vitality of the living, but, nursing a broken heart, the man will take any companionship he can get. He shares a bottle of wine with the ghost of a mysterious woman, and in the process becomes fascinated by her hunger. The man longs to feel wanted, and even when she warns that she can no longer give pleasure without causing pain, he wants to taste the depth of her need.

And a snip:

The door of a locked mausoleum swung slowly open and a pale woman emerged. Her shoulders shrugged up toward her ears. She wore a flowing dress and walked with an immensely self-conscious gait. "You're a handsome one," she said, and leaned toward me before I thought to defend myself.

Her mouth closed on mine in the most ravenous kiss I have ever received. Soft lips pressed against me, so cold that they seared, and a hard tongue thrust into my mouth. I didn't like the way it felt, but my body didn't seem to care what I thought. In seconds, my balls ached, full and heavy, and I moaned around that tongue as it reached nearly to the back of my throat. My hands came up as if on their own and were met by bony shoulders and fragile cloth.

Then she pushed me onto my back atop the monument and climbed astride my hips, ripping at my clothes with the desperation of the starving. No woman had ever moved this quickly with me, and I was stunned by the speed as much as by the cold sensations.

I could not help putting my arms around her, and at this she gave a satisfied little purr and everything changed. What had been pleasure began to sting like the pain of waking limbs. My body became heavier everywhere, and I couldn't feel my heart beating. Breath became impossible to find, and yet she never stopped kissing me, her mouth and lips the only things in the world that I could still feel.

I thought I would die, and I could not think clearly enough to know if I would mind. Before I ended, however, she pulled away, her eyes deep and bright and her pale skin now flushed with my life.

"What was that?" I shivered beneath her, the moldy marble monument cold against my back. Black hair that smelled of lilies tickled the spot beneath my nose.

"A kiss, love."

You can pick up the book here. Also, don't forget about my favorite Halloween book of last year, Coming Together: Hungry for Love. And finally, Run for Your Love, my erotic romance set against the backdrop of the zombie apocalypse, will be out this Friday.

Smut By the Sea

Just got the word that I'll have a story in volume 2 of Smut By the Sea! My story, "Brazilian Fantasy," is set in Trancoso, a part of Brazil that's become a vacation hotspot for fashionistas. Our heroine, however, doesn't have the money to visit the famous (and famously expensive) spa there. She'll have to make her own fun...

Writing this story made me feel like I needed to go on vacation!

Excerpt:

Tess grumbled to herself as she heaved the shopping bags out of the boot of her car. It was a pain in the arse having to do this all by herself. Yet she’d been through this more than once, and it was going to be for the foreseeable future. May as well just get on with it and shut up moaning, she thought.

Just as she got to her front door and started fumbling for her key, risking dropping all her bags in the process, a voice said, “Let me help you with that.”

Tess dropped the bags.

She whirled to face the owner of the voice, unadulterated joy on her face.

“Aidan!” she shrieked. And, without caring who could be watching, she hurled herself into her husband’s arms. Luckily, Aidan had been fully expecting this kind of greeting and had braced himself. Supporting his wife’s bottom with his hands as her legs clasped around his waist, he felt himself stiffening almost immediately. You couldn’t blame him though, it had been months since he’d been home.

As she took his face in her hands, Tess was almost teary with happiness. She leaned in for a kiss that would show her husband exactly how much she’d missed him. Tightening her legs around him, she smiled into his mouth as she felt his erection nudging against her bottom.

What seemed like hours later, the couple finally came up for air. Surveying the damage around them, Tess made a quick decision.

“Grab the other bags while I dump this lot in the kitchen. Then lock the door behind you and get upstairs.”

Grinning, Aidan moved to do as he was told. Tess scrabbled items back into carrier bags and rushed into their home to put them down. Now the kitchen looked like a bomb had hit it. But she didn’t care. Her man was home. Smiling to herself, she turned as Aidan came in with the rest of the bags. She gestured to the floor and he put them down.

“Corporal Scott reporting for duty ma’am,” he said, snapping her a smart salute.
Bastard, she thought, he knows what it does to me when he goes all military on me. We’ll be lucky to make it upstairs at this rate.

Tess drank in every inch of her husband. The climate in Afghanistan had given him a decent tan, but of course he hadn’t been on holiday. He’d been fighting a war, and she was eternally grateful that he’d come back to her in one piece. He was still wearing his combats, with the regulation boots, but no headgear. He looked hot.

“Come here, soldier,” she said, crooking a finger, “and kiss me.”
